In March 2006, WWF established its newest office in Singapore.
WWF Singapore is developing its corporate engagement programmes in Singapore to support the WWF regional conservation work, so as to ensure best practices in corporate responsibility and facilitate conservation financing for regional conservation projects. It is also a regional office hosting operational and programme support functions for selected Asia-Pacific countries and WWF's global programmes.
WWF Singapore's corporate engagement plan focuses on four strategies:
- Engagement on issues of corporate social responsibility
- Engagement in sustainable financing initiatives
- Engagement in education and outreach programmes with local partners
- Promote regional WWF programmes for financing and partnerships
