To facilitate interested international organisations in setting up base in Singapore, a dedicated International Organisations Programme Office has been established. The IO Programme Office represents a whole-of-government initiative which will provide one-stop-shop of assistance and information to organisations looking to establish a presence in Singapore. The Office will also continue to assist the organisations' needs after they are established in Singapore. Singapore is currently home to more than 80s IOs, including major players in a variety of fields such as World Vision International and the International Air Transport Association. EDB aims to have 150 such organisations in Singapore by 2015.

The IO Programme Office is a multi-agency set-up led by the Economic Development Board in partnership with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). It is supported by and works closely with various Ministries and agencies throughout the government.
